Kraków – always charming and popular!

Kraków has been awarded in the ranking of top ten most beautiful cities, islands and hotels in Europe. The ranking was prepared by one of the most prestigious travelling magazine „Conde Nast Traveler”.

In 2011 Kraków has been awarded in the second place in the ranking prepared by the tourist portal Zoover. Kraków has received the Zoover City Trip Award.

In 2010 the historic center of Kraków was in the group of highest rated UNESCO places in the World in the ranking of „National Geographic Traveller Magazine”

Prestigious FDI Magazine has published one of the most important reports rating the European cities and regions in terms of economic development: „The European Cities and Regions of the Future 2010/2011″. In this report Kraków and Małopolska have been highly placed.

In 2009 the monthly magazine „Travel & Leisure” published by American Express group has placed Kraków in the fifth place of the most attractive place in the World. The capital city of Małopolska region has been awarder higher than e.g. Paris, Barcelona or Prague.

In 2008 , the sixth edition of Sacrum Profanum festival was on the list of the most interesting cultural events recommended by British magazine „Gramophone”.

In 2008 in the ranking published by British „The Guardian” Kraków has been awarded as the second most interesting place abroad.

In 2006 Kraków has been chosen as one of the seven most popular tourist destinations according to Orbitz.com – the American internet travel agency.


City of Kraków

You  just  cannot  be  bored  here  because  of  plenty  of  concerts, festivals,  exhibitions  and  many  other cultural events taking place each month. Krakow is not only famous for rich architecture (Old  Town with Market Square, Jewish area, Wawel castle, Jagiellonian University) but many others.
There are over 500 restaurants, pubs, clubs, art galleries where you will get a nice reception.  We also have beautiful nature reserves‚ such as Zakopane and Tatra Mountains (just 1,5h drive from Krakow), the Cracovian-Częstochovian Jura’ where you can see Medieval castles, or the Dunajec River.
